Ninas Marie Antoinette is proud to announce that we accomplished a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ the title of the achievement “The Largest Origami Flower”, October 1st 2016 in the splendid Kings Kitchen Garden of Versailles.

Ninas Marie Antoinette and the gardeners of Le Potager de Roi Versailles created a historical event by reviving Marie Antoinette for a new luxury records. The world’s Biggest origami rose was made with Japanese golden Washi (Traditional Japanese paper).

This Guinness project shared with hundreds of Versailles’ children was aimed at reminding the importance of craftsmanship and transforming simple things into beautiful art. Children became alchemist during this Guinness project. “We are proud to bring this Japanese spirit to Versailles with such an innovative project that it required a team of 8 people to rise the Rose instead of just one, marking team spirit and intelligent hands” said Machiko IKEOKA the leader of project from Kanazawa, Ishikawa Japan.

The perfume used on the Washi was made from roses, grown in the king’s kitchen garden and the event was supported by the Femmes du Monde foundation that supports several women’s initiatives like “À Chacun son Everest”.The giant rose is a symbol of creativity and humanity and is a message to the world. We hope this project will inspire to love others more and work to make a happier rosier world.
